How Invisalign Treatment Is Tailored and Managed at Cosmetique Dental™

It starts with a consultation.

We’ll chat about your smile goals and check if Invisalign is suitable for your needs. We then use an advanced 3D digital scanner to take precise images of your teeth. It’s quick, comfortable, and involves no messy moulds. Often, with this technology, we can even show you a digital simulation of how your teeth might move and the potential final result.

Using that detailed 3D scan, our experienced dentists will create your unique treatment plan.

This digital plan maps out the exact movements needed for each tooth, step-by-step. It determines how many custom aligners you’ll need and gives an estimate of your treatment time.

Once your plan is finalised, your series of custom-made, clear aligners are produced.

You’ll receive your first few sets with clear instructions. You’ll typically wear each set for one to two weeks, for around 20 to 22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, drink, brush, and floss.

Throughout your treatment, you’ll have regular check-in appointments with us here at Cosmetique Dental™.

These visits are important. We’ll monitor your progress closely, make sure your teeth are moving as planned, answer any questions, and provide you with your next sets of aligners. This careful management helps keep your treatment on track.

When you’ve finished wearing your last set of aligners, the active straightening phase is complete!

But keeping that beautiful new smile takes one more important step: retention. We’ll provide you with custom retainers, often Vivera retainers, which you’ll need to wear as instructed to prevent your teeth from shifting back.
