Case Note: Can Porcelain Veneers Correct Tooth Shape and Colour in Hornsby?

Presenting Clinical Problem

A 32-year-old patient from the Hornsby area presented with concerns about the shape, alignment, and overall brightness of the upper teeth. Many people in Hornsby ask whether porcelain veneers can be used to improve both tooth colour and contour within the same treatment plan.

Ten porcelain veneers were custom designed for the upper teeth in collaboration with a dental ceramist. Shade and contour were carefully matched to achieve uniformity. The final placement was performed using adhesive bonding protocols under rubber dam isolation, which optimised bonding conditions.

Following insertion, occlusal adjustments were made to ensure balanced bite contacts and prevent premature wear.

Phase 4: Post-Treatment Review

Follow-up reviews were scheduled to confirm function, check bonding integrity, and ensure the veneers adapted well within daily use. This step also allowed early identification of any adjustments required for long-term stability.
