How much do veneers cost?
There can be a lot of confusion about the cost and process involved with porcelain veneers in Australia with little price transparency into the cost of Porcelain Veneers by most practices. The cost of porcelain veneers varies greatly from practice to practice and by location.
The average cost of each porcelain veneer in Australia can vary greatly between $1,200 to $3,000 per tooth typically and towards the higher end for experienced cosmetic dentists that do porcelain veneers regularly where it will be between $2,000 to $3,000 per tooth for cosmetic focused dental practices.
At Cosmetique Dental™, our Porcelain Veneer prices range from around $1,400 to $1,500 per tooth for up-front payment for the highest quality hand-made porcelain veneers which is great value relative to other cosmetic focused dental practices which tend to charge between $2,000 to $3,000 per tooth.
Our porcelain veneer external payment plans (subject to approval) start at just $57 a week for a package of 6 porcelain veneers which our patients find is an incredibly affordable price point for the highest quality materials and hand made Porcelain Veneers by a cosmetic focused dental practice.
The price of porcelain veneers depends on a few factors below.
-
The type of porcelain material selected by a cosmetic dentist. Some are naturally less costly than others, and using cheaper porcelain materials like with Hybrid Veneers (mix of porcelain and cheaper composite material) may impact the outcome of a patient’s smile transformation.
At Cosmetique, we only utilise the highest-quality porcelain material for our Porcelain Veneers and layering techniques, no hybrid materials are used.
- Hand made vs machine milled – Machine milled porcelain veneers are naturally cheaper given lower labour costs involved. At Cosmetique Dental™, we only offer the highest quality hand-made porcelain veneers produced by our team of master ceramists located at our in-house ceramic lab in North Sydney.
- Level of experience and expertise: The price of veneers is also dependent on the design and creation process. Cosmetic dentists may select to design and create their veneers or crowns through a process that is heavily dependent on technology which is typically more cost effective. Technology has its place, however, for anterior (or front-facing) veneers, the expertise of a cosmetic dentist and a master dental ceramist who specialise in creating beautiful and natural smiles can make all the difference in crafting a dream smile result that is perfectly tailored to the patient’s individual facial features. Our dental ceramists all have a minimum of a decade plus of experience crafting beautiful Porcelain Veneers.
